Leicester Eating Disorder Carers Group
A small carers group, run by carers for carers of people suffering from an eating disorder providing support and experiences. Informal monthly meetings at the Bennion Centre, regular input from professional staff. For carers of all eating disorders patients whether they are on inpatients, outpatients, recently diagnosed or perhaps you are just very concerned that someone you know might have an eating disorder.

Lutterworth Share and Care Group
Support for people living with their dementia and their carers in Lutterworth and surrounding villages. Regular meetings to assist both the individual and their family to adapt to living with dementia improving self-esteem, enhanced mood, reduced symptoms of depression, delay in residential care admission, carers feeling less isolated and more supported. Includes gentle exercise, trips, coffee mornings etc.

Royal Voluntary Service
The Royal Voluntary Service provide patient transport for essential appointments and visits to and from hospital, GP or other medical appointment where confidence or mobility issues can make it difficult or impossible to use public transport, or if people live in rural areas with limited transport. Volunteers provide company and support to people get to/from appointments and can be there to help check patients in and wait with patients before returning home. Volunteers can also take a carer if that helps.

VASL- Market Harborough based Carer support
VASL is a local charity based in Market Harborough, providing services and projects to improve the lives of people in our community. These include support for family carers, young carers, older people who are lonely and isolated, providing volunteer transport to get people out and about, and activities and information to increase mental well-being. We are a volunteer-involving organisation and most of our work is delivered by trained volunteers.
